Dear Community,
Quoting from one of our customer:
"
Can you please confirm if the Wireless Temperature Sensor can trigger Beacon, Output Relay or Switch Outlet when measured temperature is abnormal (max or high threshold). So far wired Sensors are working OK, just realized the Wireless only shows on the Web GUI Alarm Status but does not trigger any of the above - Beacon or Output Relay or Switch Outlet."
In short, the alarm captured by wireless Temperature sensor doesn't trigger the beacon or switched outlet in this case.
Can someone advise on this? Where shall the user configure at?
BR,
TJ

We're looking for an environmental monitoring system that links together back to a master controller for our DCs and IDFs. It needs to be network enabled all the way through, as our IDFs do not have copper back to the MDF, only fiber. What do you guys use that would satisfy those requirements?

Hi,
There will be different solutions out there. Here is my suggestion:
1. Install Netbotz 250 at individual IDF rooms (for temperature/humidity, dry contacts).
2. Connection from Netbotz 250 to fiber through ethernet - fiber converter (by others).
3. Data Center Expert (as main interface and data logging) at DC to monitor all connected Netbotz 250

TJ
