Gents,
I am trying to generate a report telling me the (total) amount of kVa used by a row of racks over a period of time.
Every time I am trying to generate this report in DCE it shows me all racks separate.
I would like to find the way to combine all separate readings into 1 total amount of kVa used over a certain period of 1 week, 1 month and 1 year (3 different reports).
I have tried to achieve this with creating a virtual device, but found out that virtual devices will not use the historical reading, so I cant go "back in time".
Can someone please explain to me how I manage to generate 1 report with all sensors combined in 1 line over a certain period?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Erik

Hi Eric,
Sorry but the only work-around is as you've already found the virtual sensor and as you've noticed, it does not go back in time. You can use that info going forward but if you need to add this historical data together for a single value and it is prior to the creation of the virtual sensor, you'll need to export the data and add it and graph it in something like Microsoft Excel.
Thanks,
Steve.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your reply.
I was afraid that I would get this answer, but anyway the virtual sensors that I created will collect the data so I can use this over time.
I will try to generate a export from the historical data from the sensors and combine this like you said with Excel.
Thanks again for your answer.
