I have a RS485/Ethernet converter connected to BEK3 Generator controller.
When Generator is not running the value of Generator's voltage and frequency is 65535. could you please help, how to convert them in DDF in order to see in DCE 0.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Ara Orujyan,
This is very strange: tell me, please, when your generator does not running, its BEK3 controller remains powered on?
If the BEK3 Generator controller is powered on, but the generator does not running, what other sensor values do it have, such as coolant temperature, fuel level, or battery voltage? If these sensors have a normal value, then you need to modify the DDF-file for your generator.
On the DEVICE SUPPORT page, for some reason, I did not find your generator. Therefore, to modify the DDF-file, you'd better create a device support request (see, for example ) and attach your original DDF-file there. The more you provide information about your generator, the faster and better your request will be executed.
Always glad to answer your questions.

Hi all!
The customer successfully solved his problem.
In order for the community to understand, I will explain the situation. The customer has a generator with Be-K3 Genset Controller (Bernini Design SRL). This controller is connected to the 3rd party Modbus/SNMP converter (ADFweb HD67167-485-A1), on which the Modbus registers are converted in the SNMP OID accordingly.
But for some reason, some sensors with zero values, for example, 0V, are converted to 65535V 😀. The problem is solved by some modification of the customer's custom SNMP DDF-file.
At first, after successfully solving this problem, I thought to recommend to the customer to create a Device Support Request for his generator (for an already validated working SNMP DDF-file to be available to the entire community). But since this solution is purely custom, I changed my mind: after all, the original DDF-file for the above specified generator should be a Modbus DDF-file without using any Modbus/SNMP converters.
With respect.

Dear spezialist,
Thank you for your support!
The Rs485/snmp converter is ADFweb HD67167-485-A1 and it is possible that I have made some mistakes in converter's configuration, but there is a many other parameters which are shown correctly. For example Mains voltage, number of starts, run hours, fuel level and others (Please see attached screeenshot). But there is still other parameters like PowerKW1, oilTemp and others with same values.

Well, one more question: when does the generator is running the oil temperature sensor shows the correct value?

Unfortunately, I can't answer right now, I've to test it tomorrow ,and then I can tell you about results. But in any case, should it return values 65535 which must be "0" ?
I'll tell you tomorrow about results of test.

Ok, I'll be waiting for an answer.
The fact is that if the value of the sensor is 32768, -32768, 65535 or -65535, then it means that in the device, i.e. in your generator there is no sensor or it is not connected.
Always glad to answer your questions.

Hi Ara Orujyan,
This is not strange request we have had this before. Easy way is I can always modify the DDF to have a match clause included in the coding and it automatically settles this issue. For this you will have you to approach the DDF teams. It's a breeze to set.

Hi. Thank you for the unaware. Could you please send me the part of the code of proper converting such kind of values. Or if you'll need the DDF please let me know and I'll send you it.
Thanks in advance.

Ara, you will have to send the request to DDF team please, meanwhile please send me the DDF file with registers you want changed, at least I can point out to you what you need to provide to DDF team just in case DD team asks you more questions 😀

Now we have the power outage and generator is running. So I can see the generator's voltage and other values properly , also the oil pressure haves 52 value. But mains values is 65535 now.

This confirms my suspicions that your DDF-file contains some inaccuracies or errors...

Actually, the logic of DDF is same with others created by Schneider electric support. In other cases with other devices configuration like this is working properly. Anyway, could you please suport with this issue ? Or suggest how to solve the problem?
Thank you.

Yes, of course, you can send your DDF-file to my mail, which I have already published to you privately.
Always glad to answer your questions.

Unfortunately , I can not find your e-mail address, in your profile in section contacts I can see only Country. Anyway Thank you for your support!
I think it will be right to create a DDF request in device support.

Hi Ara Orujyan,
Your DDF-file is an SNMP DDF-file. Therefore, that there was no confusion for the community customers, replace in your question the tag "modbus" with "snmp".
Always glad to answer your questions.
