I have a NEMO HD 96 device that I need to add into our APC data centre expert. I cant seem to find the latest MODBUS DDF files to download and import. How do I add this device into DCE. Its networked etc.

Hi James,
As far as I can see this device communicates via Modbus RTU, is this correct? We don't directly support Modbus RTU, but we do support Modbus TCP/IP in DCE. You would need to invest in a Gateway (the one we officially support is TSXETG100 to convert Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP/IP so DCE can monitor it). Information on the gateway is below:
http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=TSXETG100
You would also need to contact our multivendorsupport team (multivendorsupport@apcc.com) to create the DDF for you to import into DCE. You will need to provide the register map, information on the device etc.
You add the device to DCE using the IP of the gateway and then the slave address of the Power Meter.
Once you have received the DDF for this device from the multivendor team. You go to the DCE client under Device --> Modbus Device Communication Settings --> Device Definition Files --> Add/Update Definitions.
Hope this helps answer your question.
Regards,
Breda
