Hi,
I have a Netbotz deployment that needs to be extended with a camera pod about 30m away from the appliance. I want to find out if there is a limit to the number of latching repeater cables i can use?
For this specific solution, can i cascade 6 X latching repeater cables to patch a camera pod without any issues?

Hi Kevin,
5 x 5 m , giving you a total of 25 m distance.
This is USB limit as well. Extending beyond that may compromise communication.
A suggestion, is to either move the main netbotz unit, or perhaps consider wallbotz, that already has camera on it? (netbotz room monitor 455)

Hi Kevin
As far as I am aware you can use 4 x Latching Repeater cables with 1 x USB A to B Cable.
If you need to extend to 30m you can use a USB to Ethernet Converter or a Pelco IP Camera.
Best Regards
