Hello,
I was wondering if there is any limitations for the amount of objects that can be within the search base. I am trying to test the ldap configuration but the test appears to timeout and not respond. I have tested both with correct and incorrect credentials.

Hi Victor, Have you looked into the server.log file. It normally holds information on why the LDAP configuration might fail. Besides that I'm not aware of any limitations to the search base. Would it be possible to share the string for review? /Søren

Hi Victor, Got some more information. It seems that there is a limit of 1000 entries in the search. If this is exceed the result should still be shown however an error like "size limit exceeded" should be in the logs. Not sure if this might be the problem or the problem could be a very large LDAP system that is not responding within time and therefore the timeout occurs. /Søren

Hi victor, The file seems to only hold data from 27-28 July? There is nothing in this log indicating any LDAP error. /Søren

Hi Søren Bruncke Mikkelsen I have requested the additional logs and to find out how many objects are within the search base.
