Item orientation in DCO (v8.2.2)

Hello,

I have DCO v8.2.2 installed on virtual environment.

And I faced Item orintation issue (not only for Racks, but as far I tested - also for air conditioners InRows, HrPDUs):

As you can see in the picture, for item orientation 0 degrees (and also 180 degrees) everything is fine, but for item orientation 270 degrees (and also 90 degrees) item highlight (blue area) is not rotating together with rotated item.

Does someone know, why it appeared and how could it be fixed?

Best regards,

Janis Magazeinis

Hi Janis,

You are right, it seems currently the "zoom/loupe" and "pin" option is missing for floor equipment with 90 and/or 270 degrees orientation.

I have registered an enhancement case for this.

Thank you,

Kind regards

Hello Gianluca,

I can rotate the item (rack, InRow, HrPDU ect.), BUT item highlight (blue area), when you select this item is "not rotating together with the item". With "blue area" I mean the highlight, when you click on the Rack - area, when also "loupe and pin" is shown on the item, which you select. I see, that this issue is also on your examples.

How it should be (I think so): example from DCO v8.1.0:

Best regards,

Janis

I can also confirm the same bug with an addition. It seems that after zoom in I'm experiencing the issue. See two screenshots from the same with different zooms:

Hello Jef,

"Zoom/loupe" and "pin" options are not actually missing for 90 and/or 270 degree rotation, it is just uncomfortable to see them. For wider racks, e.g 750 mm wide racks we can see the part of "zoom/loupe" and "pin" option items.

Regards,

Janis

Hi Janis,

Many thanks for the comment - yes, apparently missing and as you have mentioned zoom and pin not following the 90/270 degrees orientations.

Thanks,

Kind regards
