Is the latest DCE v7.4.3 compatible with DCO 7.4.0? My client is only looking at upgrading his DCO server to version 8 later in the month but has recently upgraded DCE from v7.4.0 to v7.4.3. He has now picked up DCE is not communicating with DCO. He is able to ping from DCE to DCO but when testing the external system he is getting an error that DCE could be down.

Hi Kevin,
DCE 7.4.3 is not compatible with DCO 7.4. Your observation is correct that the previous/old versions of DCO (such as 7.4) cannot not be integrated properly with the latest versions of DCE (7.4.3). It sounds great that customer has already planned to upgrade the product to 8.x, which is highly recommended.
Kind regards
