about 3D cooling issues

When I do a calculation with measured data, appears this issue: "Insufficient cooling, so the temperatures may be inaccurate". I'd like to know what that messages means exactly so I think I have enough cooling.

Also I want to know if is normal the cold map go out of the cold aisle contaninment system as you can see in this image

Hi Enric,

That seems to be a general notification saying that something may affect the accuracy of the temperature map.  For the Measured plan, just to mention an example, perhaps some associated temperature sensor(s) might be disconnected. It might also make sense to check the Recommendation and Alarms window for possible info/notification.

I cannot say why the cold map is going out of the cold aisle in your setup - that doesn't seem to be normal to me. If I may have copy of your setup, then I will take a look. I will send you an invite to my =S= box shortly, just in case if you would share your backup file with me, thanks.

7.5 is getting out-dated, so it is highly recommended to upgrade to 8.x.

Additional to studding your setup, I have also did some simulations using own setup, it seems the temperature map (in 3D view) for Measured plan based on temperature sensors and dose not care about the cold aisle containment system.

However as illustrated, the CACS (in your setup) seems to be misconfigured:

CACS dose not cover it's racks (it only covers the space between the racks).  Correcting this (illustrated above), can improve the 3D simulation for the Calculated plane.
