Internal browser does not support multiple tabs on the DCE 7.2.6 client

Hello Team,

There is a bug or set up that way but it is about internal browser in the DCE 7.2.6 client.

When I double click on an apc device it launches the built-in dce client browser and logs in to the apc device. When we redo the same thing with another device it does not open a new tab to login to the web interface. It actually goes to the previously opened tab and does not even load the newly clicked items web page and stays as is... I expect to see 2 seperate browser tabs for two seperate devices... I remember seeing that multiple tabs were working fine...

Hi!

Two separate tabs will be opened if you try to launch device  at public LAN. In case of private LAN, only one tab can be opened. It is the way DCE works. If you need several tabs, you need to use external browser and set it up in client preferences.

Valentin is correct in that it is a limitation. Just to add to that however, this issue is documented in k-base FA239969.
