Installation for vigilent power sensor

Dear Experts,

One of our customer is quite interested in our Cooling Optimize solution. However, they are quite concerned about the installation method for the vigilent power sensor on CRAC.

They are wondering if the installation of the sensor will interfere other sub-system's running, do they need to do some Circuit reconstruction or the sensor could directly install on the CRAC?

And do you know where could I find the installation guide for vigilent power sensor?

Thanks with Best Regards,

Ziqiang

Hi Ziqiang,

The control output (power sensors) are wired directly to the cooling unit.

Control kits are designed to be installed into or on a CRAC, CRAH or AHU. They are designed to be wired directly into cooling equipment by a licensed electrician. They are available in a wide variety of configurations, designed to meet the unique requirements of how individual cooling units are designed - (installation/cabling depends on the cooling units).

The kit (control box) includes components which measure return and discharge air temperatures and the power consumption of the cooling equipment to which it is attached, sending data to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engine over the wireless network. The kit also includes components which receive and implement control commands from the AP Engine, such as turning the unit On or Off, or adjusting the Variable Frequency Drives fan speed, to address the facility's current cooling needs.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards
