Hi all,
Are there any way to download data and later on can be imported back to DCE to generate the graph ?
Currently, we are looking to change entire data centre monitor to difference IP range, which meant all device's IP will be changed. As far as I knew, DCE keeps all historical data via IP address.
Thanks,
Minh

Minh,
Once a device is removed from DCE all data within DCE for that device will be gone. This data would be contained within a full backup, but it can not be reassociated back to a device within DCE. Everything isn't just associated by IP addresses, there are also unique identifiers that will change when the device is discovered again with a new IP address.
Best Regards,
Cory

Hi Cory,
Thanks for quick respond. Your answer gave me a clear confirmation to my report.
Another question but not relating to technical is:
Can we purchase just a Cooling Optimize as a part of DCO ?
Thanks,
Minh

Cooling optimize will require temperature data from your environment pulled from DCO through external system integrations. You will still need to purchase rack licenses as well as licenses which may be required for other types of systems you would like to monitor. You can reach out to your local sales consultant to talk about required licensing.

Just to add on to the Cooling Optimize question: Cooling Optimize consists of both hardware and software. So as Cory mention will you need to purchase licenses for Cooling Optimize in Data Center Operation, but it also requires hardware such as temperature sensors and controller modules for the cooling units. But you local sales consultant will be able to give you more information about Cooling Optimize. Thanks Jesper
