Hi Angel,
Can you advise what version of DCE are you running? The error is reporting the capacity as a negative value which is not accurate. I believe this was an issue that was reported prior to DCE v7.2.
If you are on an older version, is it possible for you to upgrade to DCE 7.2 or higher? If you have a software support contract, you can request the upgrade link from your local tech support. The RAID battery diagnostic should being to report correctly after the upgrade.
If however, you are on DCE V7.2 or higher, if may indicate that the RAID battery is degraded to the state of being disabled, which can cause potential performance issues. In this case, the RAID battery may need replacing. If the server is under DELL warranty, they should be able to send you a replacement battery. If the server is under our hardware warranty, local tech support should be able to help out with sending a RAID battery.
Also, please keep in mind that the system will run a RAID battery test is done every 90 days and you may see messages in the log about the RAID battery when its just testing.
Regards,
Breda
