Hi Team!
I have a project were customer use Cold Aisle Containment System for colad aisle and Racks Containment System (ACCS1000, ACCS1001, ACCS1006).
Now, I try to model this solution, but can not reach good results.
I've add Cold Asle System (1500 mm depth) and two Hot Aisle System (300 mm depth) like this:
After calculating cooling in 3D view I've get error: "Insufficient cooling, so the temperatures may be inaccurate."
After some experiments, I've found out that CACS depth equal 2000 mm resolve this issue.
Now the second issue: When I try to calculate cooling plane DCO can do it. but it seems that Hot Aisle is not limited by Rack Containment System (calculated and measured planes):
To workaround this I've try to add wide dummy floor equipment or rack.
In case of generic floor equipment it partially works for measured plane and strange works for calculated plane:
It calculate values only for one row:
And again I have "Insufficient cooling, so the temperatures may be inaccurate." error.
When I try to use dummy Rack, I get error "Hot aisle: The aisle is too narrow".
Please advice me what I need to do.
Its urgent, because I have only two days (today and tomorrow) and our model need to be very precision because of customers hard requirements.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Valentin,
The cold aisle containment system(s) in your setup seems to be mis-configured, containment system(s) not covering its items (racks and cooling units), here is an example to illustrate a correct setup:
As you might know (in DCO) modeling a simple rack is supported (racks equipped with cooling/fans, such as ACCS1000 are unsupported). And I'm not sure I understand why you want to add those two very narrow hot aisle containment systems close to CACS?
Kind regards

Hi Jef!
I want to add hot aisles to model real installation. On the site racks have common cold aisle and two independent isolated hot aisles. So the temperature in the cold aisle is lower than room temperature and the temperature in the hot aisle is higher than room temperature. Our racks are fully isolated from room environment.
So, ideally, I need to have temperature plain with dark blue color in cold aisle, orange or red in hot aisles and light blue in room, outsude of container.
It seems that DCO currently not support such configuration.

Hi Valentin,
Many thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately it is not supported (in DCO) to isolate/model a closed cold/hot area/channels. If simulation of the temperature map is very important to the customer, then perhaps the best option could be to associate some temperature sensors and then run the 3D temperature map based on "Measured plane".
Kind regards

Hi Jef!
Sensors are assosiated already, but unfortunately measured plain is going outside of isolated area.
