How to connect Stuxureware Portal 1.3.7 to PME 8.2

I had searched for a difinitive answer on how to connect Stuxureware Portal 1.3.7 to PME 8.2 using EcoStruxure Web Services and was unable to find an actual guide on how to do so. I have compiled the exact steps necessary to do so below. 

         Verify Communication:

1. Ensure that you have the Data Center Version of PME 8.2.
2. Ensure that PME and DCO can communicate over HTTP port 80.
   
   Enable EWS on PME 8.2 Sever:
3. On the PME Server you will want to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\application\EWS.
4. Copy and save the file "Web.Config" and place it somewhere safe. Keep this file in case you make an error during the steps below somehow.
5. Open the "Web.config" file in notepad.
6. Find

   Create an EWS user on the PME Server:
8. After you have changed the text file value. You will need to enter the PME Web Cleint by accessing the  PMEIPAddress/web.
9. Once logged into the PME Web Client navigate to >Settings > Eco StruxtureWeb Services.
10. Select the button that allow you to create a user and password / change credentials. After this simply create a user with the credentials you would like to use and then save.
    
    Establish the connection with portal:
11. Enter the StuxureWare portal using PortalIPAddress:8080 and log in.
12.  Naviagate Go to > Control Panel > Connect to StuxureWare System 
13.  Click the "Add Struxureware System" Link
14. For Service Provider Select "EcoStruxure Web Services".
15. For Endpoint name enter the hostname of the PME Server
16. For Endpoint URL you will enter http://pmeipaddress/EWS/dataexchange.svc
    Note: The URL is case sensitive and must be entered with "EWS" in caps???
17. Enter the username and password for the EWS user you created within PME.
18. Under Description enter what the connection is for.

To test the solution try out a PME portlet or you can download the EWS Reference client.
