Hi ,
I have an issue of getting emails to those who left from our Distribution list but still their emails we can see in the alerts.
FYI:We have configured our DCE server email address with our DL only no independent emails is configured.
Can any one assist or provide me solution to understand how to remove this email from DCE .
Regards
Shaik Mahboob Ali

Dear Shaik,
I suggest you to delete and re-add your group email or email address once again under Email Alert action in your Notification Policy. In my opinion, it should resolve your issue as long as the group email address does not have the old email address.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Shaik,
You haven't mentioned what e-mails you're receiving. If it's for things like NetBotz and lost comm rather than alert policies, that's the e-mail connected to the users.
If you remove the users, their e-mails should also be removed. This should be the case for both local and active directory users.
It should also be noted that if you are sending any e-mails to a company created internal e-mail group, we send only to the group and it is the e-mail server's responsibility to determine the users to which the emails should be sent.

Hi Shaik,
There is no way to clear any cache on the DCE appliance. The only suggestion I can make to be sure the system isn't holding something in memory would be to reboot the server. Not sure what you mean by "DL email".
Again, if the e-mail is a lost comm from DCE to a NetBotz device, that is a user e-mail. Verify all users do or do not have e-mails. Is this the type of e-mail you're seeing? You've still not specified. NetBotz alarms (not SNMP devices) come from the appliances themselves. Lost comm with botz comes from DCE and is based on added users and DCE alarms for SNMP/Modbus device alerts using notification policies. SNMP devices CAN be configured to send alerts as well.
Perhaps working directly with tech support and allowing them remote access will help...maybe catch something you may have missed.
