How to add Liebert / Emerson NXa UPS to DCE 7.2.0?

We have DCE 7.2.0. I want to add Liebert /  Emerson NXa UPS to it. for which I allowed the IP of DCE in the UPS web console and run discovery. DCE discoved UPS as cooling unit and just shows its link status only. Please guide how can I monitor all the parameters of NXa UPS as we do of APC UPS systems.

Notice that I tried to update DDF through APC web site but the process failed.

Dear Syed,

You will need to add the Liebert/Emerson NXa UPS DDF file in order for DCE to discover the device via SNMP or Modbus Over TCP. 

Depending upon the type of the communication SNMP or Modbus Over TCP output from the UPS device, you need to fill in the DDF request form and send it to Multivendorsupport@apcc.com. 

Please email your DDF request to Multivendorsupport@apcc.com so that they will respond you with the DDF file.

Hello Syed,

If you are on DCE 7.2.0 I would recommend upgrading to the newest version which is 7.2.7. If you only able to see the link status, it usually refers to a DDF problem. This version may not have the most up to date version of the Liebert DDF for your model. 

You can also email multivendorsupprt@apcc.com to acquire this DDF for your unit. Please send in the exact details of the Liebert unit, along with an SNMPWalk and the MIB file. They will be able to then send you the most recent DDF for this unit to import into the DCE client.

Hi Syed I had some Emerson DDF just in case you want to try them out...Rest you can try upgrading DCE to latest version and mail up multivendor support...
