In the following example, I have initially created two stand alone servers, let's call them Server1 and Server2.
And would like to configure Server2 as the disaster recovery node to Server1.
Go to Server1 webmin interface > StruxureWare DC Operation > Disaster Recovery
Select the option Allow another node to connect to this node (1)
Enter the IP (for Server2) to allow as disaster recovery node. (2)
And push Attach (3)
Accept fingerprint, (1)
And then push Allow (2)
Fingerprint is added successfully, and instructed to go to Server2 webmin and continue/finish the setup.
Go to Server2, webmin interface > StruxureWare DC Operation > Disaster Recovery
Select Attach this node (xx.xx.xx.xx) as a disaster recovery node to another node… (1)
Enter the IP (for Server1) to be attached to (2)
Push Attach (3)
Accept fingerprint, (1)
And then push Attach (2)
It is now successfully being attached, notification should say Attaching the node, please wait this could take several minutes......
Server1 Status page will now display the information both for Server1 itself and Server2 (as Disaster Recovery)
Server2 (disaster recovery node) Status page will display the infomation about itself.
Note: This setup Standalone + Disaster Recovery requires a high availability license.
To add the license
Login (via web client) to standalone server (Server1), and go to Administration > Licenses
And then enter the license key

Hi Jef
So i'm right that on the DR Node self it's not needed to add the HA license, it just needs to be stored in the production server, right?

Hi Ueli,
Yes, you are right, you would need to add the license on the production server.
Kind regards
