Firmware Update In Progress From Host PDU: randomly, what is the reason?
Dear support team,
I use daisy chained rPDU Gen2 (two rPDUs in a chain). Several times a year, I register an unreasonable firmware update of the guest rPDU from the host rPDU:
I am sure, that there was no firmware update for the host rPDU. That is, the firmware version of both the host and the guest rPDUs has not changed.
The above-mentioned guest rPDU firmware update always lasts ~10 minutes, as can be seen from the DCE-server's alarm history:
"Time Occurred" "Time Resolved" "Device Label" "Status" "Description" "Severity" "06/04/16 11:12:10" "06/04/16 11:25:37" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "14/11/16 04:16:30" "14/11/16 04:20:34" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "29/01/18 14:55:42" "29/01/18 15:05:36" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "07/06/18 17:17:00" "07/06/18 17:27:01" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "16/10/18 15:33:20" "16/10/18 15:43:27" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "03/01/19 05:16:14" "03/01/19 05:27:31" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "18/01/19 09:29:53" "18/01/19 09:41:12" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning" "28/03/19 14:03:22" "28/03/19 14:14:41" "RPDU1-SH-C3 (192.168.0.44)" "Resolved" "Rack PDU 1: Remote RPDU firmware version alarm has been cleared" "Warning"
Someone can explain the reason for these random guest rPDU firmware update, when in fact there was no firmware update for the host rPDU?
