I think I screwed up and locked myself out of my UPS. I changed the local "apc" user password and then setup RADIUS without testing. I changed the security to RADIUS then LOCAL. RADIUS isn't working and I cannot login with local creds either.
Is there a way to factory reset the NMC via EcoStruxure? It's being polled successfully in there. This is at a remote site and 35' off the ground.

Hi @whatamidoing,
If it's possible to prevent the radius server from responding to the card, that's usually the easiest way out of this. "RADIUS then Local" only fails over to Local if the radius server does not respond. It does not failover if the server responds in the negative (or without the required vendor extensions, etc).
For example, if you can separate the card from the network (move it onto a different vlan at the switch, unplug the near end of the cable, etc) and stick a laptop on the isolated segment to reach the card, this would trigger the "then local" behaviour as the card wouldn't be able to reach the radius server during login.

That's what I was afraid of, same as with how Cisco operates. Thanks for confirming Shaun, I'll get it figured out from here. Best solution may be ask to borrow a scissor lift and get someone up there with a paperclip to factory reset and then don't be dum next time. 😄
