Hello,
I had a user ask me to provide a list of all of our genomes with their attributes like Manufacturer/model/manufacturers and adjusted nameplate, dimensions etc. I have searched this forum but despite the mention of the .cat files, I cannot find a method to do this. The exported cat file is hard to reformat into csv or similar.
I have also searched the tables in the ITA database but cannot find a table dedicated to genomes?

Make Use of a CSV Converter Tool: Online resources such as FreeConvert.com are capable of converting.cat files to CSV format. You can download the converted CSV file1 after uploading your.cat file.
Custom Script: To read the.cat file and convert it to CSV, you can develop a custom script if you're experienced with programming. For this, Python libraries like pandas can be quite useful.
Searching the ITA Database for Genomes
ITA Genome Library: The Genome Library, a compilation of available products, is part of the ITA software. This library is available via the ITA desktop client.
