Evaluating DCE vs EcoStructure IT Expert for Outlet control of PDU

Hello,

I'm looking at the differences between DCE and the EcoStructure + Gateway for controlling my PDU devices in my network. In DCE I see a nice option to control a PDU (and individual outlet) when I right click on it. Is this possible in the EcoStructure cloud platform (Mobile device or web)?

In the IT Expert team we are working on RPDU Outlet control right now. We expect to release this feature in March - April available both on the webUI and the mobile app.

Hello

You are correct. DCE does support outlet control for some devices. IT Expert does not offer this feature today, but it expected to provide outlet control features in 2022.

I cannot provide a timeframe, I'm hopeful a member from the ITE team will also reponse to your inquiry with a more specific timeframe for you.

The RPDU control option will be part of the IT Expert standard product. So you will need a IT Expert license.

This is great news! That's one thing that we use all the time in DCE.

One other thing we would need to replace DCE with EcoStruxure is centralized/bulk firmware updates and configuration management. Is this on the roadmap for EcoStruxure?
