Hi,
I found the new EcoStruxure-IT-Advisor homepage and looked for license details without any success.
I have a valid support contract for Operation.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Mate,
1- Yes, assuming holding a valid support contact you can upgrade to ITA.
Upgrading to ITA is actually recommended, since new features/enhancements, etc. will only be applied in ITA (and not in DCO).
2- The following modules (known from DCO): Cooling Optimize, Energy Efficiency and Insight are discontinued in ITA.
3- Yes, you can easily restore the 8.x backup file in ITA. (actually from the deployment point of view ITA is very similar to DCO).
4- Similar to DCO (or other products) download link can be requested from the local tech support (please be prepared that they may ask for a valid support contact).
I will send you a direct email as well, thanks.
Kind regards

Hi Jef,
Can we restore ITA backup in DCO 8.3.2.
I tried the backup of ITA in DCO 8.3.2 , restore was successful but facing the credential issue as the same credential is working in ITA. We tried to reset the password but getting error. Then i tried the same procedure with 8.3.2 backup in 8.3.2 server and found password changes and work fine. Still i done password recovery procedure and that also was successful. Is that mean we cannot restore ITA backup in DCO.8.3.2 but it work if we want to restore 8.3.2 backup in ITA.

Hi Atul,
Restoring a backup from ITA setup on DCO is not supported!
And in general, restoring a backup on another setup with lower version than the source of the backup file is not supported. Ex. a backup from 8.2 can be restored on 8.3.2, but restoring a backup from 8.3.2 on 8.2 is not supported.
Kind regards
