EcoStruxure IT Expert: alert when on battery

EcoStruxure IT generates an alert when UPS battery power is too low to support the load. However, I would like to receive an alert as soon as a UPS switches to battery power. This will allow us to get ahead of facility power issues. Is there a way to configure EcoStruxure IT for such alerts?

hello,

in DCE, right click on UPs and select create threshold 

you can set minimum voltage/range for input,minimum value for battery percent etc

It looks like the previous responses to your question may have been around an incorrect product.  Your question appears to be based about EcoStruxure IT Expert alerting.

Recently (September 2024) custom thresholding was enabled within ITE and you can use the Duration option for the "Time running on battery" sensor to trigger an email alert.
