We are going to upgrade to the latest release of DCO (8) and will also configure ETL to export data from DCO. We are gathering requirements to build the VM and am trying to determine total storage needed. DCO system requirements, for the amount of racks and users we have are 100GB of storage. The export database will be internal on the DCO server and am wondering if we will need more storage? It seems as if ETL re-creates the DCO database so that means that we will need to double the amount of storage? I have searched through documentation and previous questions but have not been able to find an answer.

Hi Ramiro,
Actually the export database is not so large, it's total size can only be a few percent of the data base itself. (roughly saying the size of data base is comparable with the size of its backup file).
But usually backup files (and log files) can/will mostly occupy the disc space (over the time). I would also like to add that 100 GB storage/disc space is the minimum requirement - if you should have more disc space available, then I would recommend more (usually people using at least 200 GB).
Kind regards
