Example: Temperature threshold alerts set on RPDU 8861 firmware, Do alerts set in DCE disable alerts from firmware or are they duplicated?

The latter: you will have 2 thresholds then.
So choose either one that you prefer and use one of them.
e.g disable the rpdu threshold alert and use thresholds created in DCE or
use rpdu alerts set and do not create threshold in DCE.

I guess then there would actually be 3 threshold setting possibilities per device if you use the device firmware or DCE, and StruxureON Gateway. Is there a best practice establishing which method is best or most reliable? Seems like maybe DCE has the most granular due to the having Threshold settings, Alarm actions and Notification policies.
