Disable auto logout when not in fullscreen dashboard

Is it possible to disable the automatic logout functionality? We would like to switch between different dashboards (different browser tabs). Currently, the system automatically logs the user out after X minutes. In fullscreen mode, the user is logged out in the background after 2 minutes. This does not help since when switching tabs, the window loses fullscreen focus and eventually logs out.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?
