Installed DCE and have discovered one device (intentionally only one) - a UPS. It is functioning normally but the Status column shows "Critical" - I'm unable to determine what is causing this status

Ed. You should have an Active Alarm window. If this does not appear on your DCE, select Window -> Restore Default Screen Layout. It will appear at the bottom of the screen. Another alternative is to double click on the UPS, which will launch you to the network card on the UPS itself. The home screen will also show the critical alarm.
