Data Center Expert stops registering data from netbotz 750

Hello EcoXperts.

I'm having an issue with Data Center Expert and a Netbotz 750 with one of our clients.

The system has been working for about 2 years now, and about a year and a half ago, they bought two Netbotz 750, for the monitoring of their Data Centers, and added them to DCE, a few months ago, they reported that one the Netbotz 750 was having connection issues.

Data Center Expert wasn't reporting anything unusual, but they noticed that the sensor data from the reports they were generating, had gaps in them of about half an hour each. Checking historical data for the appliance we noticed that this has been happening since a long time ago, occurring almost once every month for about thirty minutes.

Digging a little further in the stored data, we noticed that whenever this happens, it doesn't affect all the sensor every time.

The pictures attached were taken from the last two events that has occurred.

All the other devices in Data Center Expert, work properly, it's just the netbotz 750 that show this issue; and whenever this happens, there is no active alarm of communication loss.

Thanks in advanced for the help.

Best regards

Hi @Jorge_Carranza,

If this issue is still occurring I recommend reaching out to technical support to troubleshoot. They will work with you to gather all the needed details to analyze the situation and assist you and your customer through to a resolution of the issue.

If it is only certain sensors that are not getting values, but others are for a period of time that would likely explain why there is no communication lost issues within DCE as the device is still responding to some SNMP requests.

Regards,

Cory
