Lukasz, Bivek and I are all trying to help this client connect their DCO 7.5 (SP?) to Remedy
What are the command line "psql" parameters we should specify to test the customer provided IP, UN, PW etc
Or is our connector via Web Services? If so, is there a way we can check that we have data comms? e.g. can we wget? or similar?
Thanks

Hi Ed, I've just added a comment to Lukasz's posted question that as far as I know we have not tested DCO 7.5 with Remedy 8.1 - but I will find out and get back to you asap. Can you please email me the customer name, thanks. Kind regards

Thanks Jef It would be really helpful if we could use a DCO server command line tool to prove that the customer has provided the correct details and opened the correct firewall ports. (FYI Our customer is telling us to use 20100). If we could connect from the command line but not DCO GUI as opposed to neither working, we have a much better idea of where to look. Any chance you can find a command?

Hi Ed,
To test the connection, try the following command from each node (if running cluster):
wget http://
replace the "http" with "https", if you are using the secure https.
Note: I believe our team is planning to setup a test environment with Remedy 8.1.
Kind regards

It's been confirmed that DCO 7.5 supports the integration with Remedy 8.1.

Hi Fabio,
It turned out that DCO 7.5 required additional enhancements for integration with Remedy 8.1.
The required enhancements are included in DCO 8.x.
(to answer your question, command could be executed from DCO console).
Kind regards
