Hi,
We are offering our customers access to the DCE portal as it offers a vast amount of information and sensor data in comparison to the DCO Tenant Portal.
Unfortunately, the DCO Tenant Portal is not offering customers any information in regards to sensor data from PDU bars (but is available via DCE in real time). It is also not possible for a customer to reset their PDU bars via the DCO Tenant Portal.
However, this can be done via a DCE. I can create a user and can set their access levels to only see what is in their rack, although the UI of the DCE login page is not on the same level as the DCO Tenant Portal, where we can customise the login page.
It is also not possible for a user to change their own password in DCE.
Are there any plans to allow customisation for the DCE login page and/or allow more viewing of sensors and control of equipment in the DCO Tenant Portal.
Thanks!
Sean

Hi Sean
I wonder if you might achieve some / all of what you're trying to do for your customers by using StruxureWare Portal? Or potentially some other dashboard/portal system that has the flexibility you need to present the exact info you want to present in the way you want to present it. If you're meeting a long term and permanent need (e.g. you're a DC as a business) a highly configurable dashboard solution might be worthwhile investigating. Your current requirement might be the impetus to start. The SXW Portal solution might be a good starting place (no charge for SXW Portal) and with some careful tracking of time invested, it could end up having a huge return for a relatively small investment. At the other end of the potential solution spectrum is an externally developed solution - there's plenty of web companies around who can do this work. Without knowing a lot about your business and your requirements, it's hard for me to advise. I hope my rant, a comment rather than an answer, helps.
Cheers
Ed

Hi Sean,
The Colo version of DCO is basically designed for Colo provider, so the administration and integration of the external systems (in DCO) is owned by the Colo provider. However, if the Colo provider should do external system (such DCE) integrations and apply device associations to a location/room/cage/rack that the tenant user has access to, then the tenant portal should display the associated sensor data.
And concerning the DCE user password change, I think that has been registered as product feedback, thanks.
Kind regards
