Hi Team,
I got this question from a customer: is there a maximum amount of tasks you can have in one workorder ?
DCO version is 8.3

Hi Cees!
We have some issues with big number of tasks in work order. Many tasks in work order cause very low UI performance.
In some cases work order panel just becomes blank and you need to restart DCO client.
It work fine when you have less than 50 tasks in work order. If this quantity is between 50 and 100 you need to have pretty strong workstation. And if it will be more than 100 you may experience some issues.
One of biggest work order we have contains about 400 tasks. It was very uncomfortable to work with it. We need to wait couple of minutes just to open it in editor.
I would recommend you to limit tasks number about 50 for comfortable daily work.

Hi Cees,
I don't think we have limitations on how many tasks can be included in a workorder. Out of curiosity how many task are you/customer is expecting to include in a workorder?
Kind regards

Hi Cess,
Many thanks for the info, I agree with Valentin, large number of tasks on a workorder may give performance challenges on the client side (such as work order load time).
Kind regards

Hi Valentin,
thanks a lot for your response, just asked the customer about the real amount of tasks, in one w.o they had 98 tasks and in another one 79, so it is less then yours but still enough to give performance issue's. We will take into account your numbers !!
