Dears,
While adding the network routing (ports connection) from switches ports to patch panels ports & field equipment (UPS, NetBotz, CRAH units, Servers).
The network utilization percentage displayed on the pie chart considered only the ports connected to field equipment and neglected patch panels connections (considered them not-utilized ports).
Then, How to overcome this issue? How to consider all switches ports connection (even connected to field device or patch panel) in network utilization percentage?
Note: The patch panels rear side connected to other systems devices (Cameras, Control panels, Chillers , ... etc.).

Ahmed Ashraf

Hi Ahmed,
Patch panels (similar to cables) are not included in the Capacity Overview calculations. Network ports in layer 2 & 3 network equipment (such as server/switch) are included in the capacity history KPIs.
Kind regards

Dear Greg,
I understand what you say, But there is no cameras (as example) in DCO
Then how to utilize all switches ports of cameras to be considered in Network utilization calculations.

Ahmed

Hi Ahmed,
As a work around I would try customizing/using a switch device and call it "camera switch" and then configure its network ports and set its power settings to zero, without power inlets (to not include in power capacity calculations).
Kind regards
