DCE upgrade from 7.2.0 to 7.4.1
Hi,
We want to upgrade DCE version from 7.2.0 to 7.4.1
Should we upgrade directly from version 7.2.0 to 7.4.1 (is it OK)
How to take backup of the current configuration & after upgrade how to restore backup?

Dear Nadeem,
It is required to upgrade the DCE version to the latest version step by step. You will need to upgrade from 7.2.0-->7.2.1-->7.2.2-->7.2.4-->7.2.5-->7.2.6-->7.2.7-->7.3.1–>7.4.1
I know it is a long process, but it is how the upgrade progress works. Its not possible to upgrade directly to 7.4.1. The backup file of 7.2.0 can also not be restored directly to 7.4.1.
Please find the procedure to take the backup of current DCE version.
From the Struxureware Central console, select System-->Server Administration Settings-->Server Backup/Restore
The Server Administration Settings screen is displayed. To add a backup, click Add Backup.
Choose the Remote Mount Type and click Next.
Enter the required information and click on Next.
Example:
If you are using the DCE server(hardware), then you may also connect your laptop to GB2 of DCE server, and take the backup directly which would be faster. Disable any firewall if you are facing problem in mounting the drive.

Please note that we have only version 7.4.1 as provided by Schneider against our maintenance agreement.
How to download all other versions as recommended above?
