Hi all!
Maybe not quite on the topic, but I found this bug with a DCE-server that not only monitors the NMC2 board of the Symmetra PX500 UPS, but also its Display (Virtual Display).
The bug periodically (almost every second month) occurs in this Symmetra PX500 UPS:
UPS firmware: 4.36.12
Display firmware: 2.5.2.116
Display hardware: 640-4729A
NMC2 firmware: 6.4.6
NMC2 hardware: 05
The essence of the bug #1: the Display and NMC2 board are periodically lost communication with the MIM and RIM of this UPS. For example, here is a part of the log from the Virtual Display with a mass of similar messages about Display communication:
And here example a part of the log from the same Virtual Display with a messages about NMC2 board communication:
And similar logs, but already from the NMC2 board with a mass of similar messages about Display communication:
And here example a part of the log from the same NMC2 board with a messages about NMC2 board communication and self reboot:
The NMC2 board is configured in 'rw' mode in this Symmetra PX500 UPS. This is done in order to perform periodic synchronization of Display RTC and correct switch to/from DST.
In addition, in this Symmetra PX500 UPS Display configurations has enabled SNMP v1 for monitoring via the DCE-server.
The essence of the bug #2: after the Display and NMC2 board many times lose/restore communication with the MIM and RIM of this UPS, for some unknown reason in the display settings SNMP v1 is disabled. This registers the DCE-server as a communication loss with Virtual Display.
In addition, after these many times lose/restore communication in the settings of the NMC2 board, you can see this about the Virtual Display settings:
Someone can confirm the presence of this bug, because I was tired every two months enabled SNMP v1 in the Virtual Display settings.
Very thanks for the support.

HI!
Loosing communication with MIM and RIM is abnormal operation mode. Probably it's hardware problem.
I guess nobody has test NMC settings reaction on abnormal operation.
I believe that this problem will be resolved after fixing communication lost issue.
