Is it possible to use RADIUS credentials in the Device File transfer settings?

Re: DCE device discovery using RADIUS credentials

Hi!

You cant use RADIUS while discovering devices, but you can specify user and password for every device or address range individually.

Re: DCE device discovery using RADIUS credentials

Hi Valentin,

Today I had the customer try a discovery, we entered his RADIUS credentials in the device file transfer settings and the discovery was successful.

Re: DCE device discovery using RADIUS credentials

Glad to hear it!

Yes, if you enter domain/RADIUS credentials in the device transfer settings and your NMC is configured properly to use RADIUS, it will work fine.

I mean that you can't configure DCE to use RADIUS in order to manage DCE's access to NMC based on some criteria via RADIUS service.

Sorry for misunderstanding.
