Can DCE be installed on Hyper-V?

Did any of you managed to get it going on Hyper-V? How did you get that done?

Hi,

Unfortunately, DCE is not officially supported on Hyper-V. DCE is only officially supported on a VMware platform. 

There are tools to convert the OVA to a Hyper-V format, but even if this should work (I haven't heard of any success stories with this), it would not be supported by us. 

DCE 8.0 will be a software based application that you can install on any OS, according to the server spec. I do not have the official release date for this version.  Thanks

Any update to the release of DCE8? We have to maintain an ESXi cluster of 2 servers purely so we can run DCE v7, while the rest of our infrastructure runs on Hyper-V. Its not efficient.

I´m currently running Hyper-V on a Windows Server 2012 R2 and Expert v7.2.2. No specific settings, just assign memory, CPU and disk according to your need.

I've tried to deploy more recent version of DCE on Hyper-V, but it dont work.

It seems that DCE 7.2.3. is last the version which can run on Hyper-V.

Hello, I tried Hyper-V (inside Windows 10 - Pro), convert the OVA to VHD, it ran perfect, after create the VM in Hyper-V and deploy the converted VHD, I upgrade the server (for this test) from 7.4.2 to 7.4.3 without problem, the new 7.4.3 DCE for test works perfect.
