Dear All
I recently faced strange issue in DCE. When setting up threshold(in this case max temperature),I chose to select "yes" under "Return to Normal required User input". (see screen shot below)
When the value exceeded threshold, error was received as expected, but when the value went back to normal,I am not able to remove alarm from device even after alarm acknowledgment.(see screen shot 2)
Any ides what should be an issue or what should be done in this specific case?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Marcis,
I believe we are both making the same mistake. Alarm acknowledgment is not how you resolve the alarm. I tested it and chose the same options, acknowledge alarm. You need to right click the alarm details and comments. Choose the details option on the left:
Click the resolve alarm button near the bottom.

Hi Marcis,
It's not a known issue that I am aware of. What version of DCE are you running? Are you admin on the DCE server? I can see that the maximum temperature threshold in the screenshot is currently at 25 and the alert shows the actual value at 36. How were you testing this exactly?

Hi Steven It is version 7.2.6 and I am admin on the server. It is tested by using device simulator called Ditto. I have tried it also with other thresholds such as watts, other state,so it is not just temperature. Thanks
