Good day Gents
Please assist: How do i configure RackPDU Temp Sensor to send e-mail alert when sensor is disconnected. Currently we receiving alerts for Temperture and Humidity errors.
Specifications - DCE 7.4.1
it seems as i don't have a threshold for Temp Sensor when the sensor is disconnected.

Look under Device Alarm Configuration.
That sensor lost comms may already predefined as a warning event.
Example below from an APC rack PDU.

Does it show in DCE alarm as warning?
Check on the rpdu web interface if it is showing as alarm as well.
If yes to above, check if your notification policy is set to send notification for warning, if not, adjust it to other severity that is set to trigger email.

Dear Juice,
I also suggest you to upgrade the DCE version to 7.5.0, and make sure that rPDU firmware is the latest firmware.
Please contact your regional Customer care team to receive the upgrade if your DCE is under software support contract.
Regards,
Bala
