I am running the latest 7.5.0 Expert and monitoring 3rd party devices such as Cisco UCS M3 rack mount servers and ServerTech PDUs via SNMPv3.
I experienced that after these devices management interfaces rebooted I lost communication in DCE. Of course there was no any SNMP related setting change on the device itself.
I cannot see anything in the DCE logs about it.
Just for fun I rebooted the complete DCE server and after that communication with these 3rd party device came back to normal.
Is there any chance to solve this problem?

Sounds like the SNMP service stopped... You might be able to restart the service without having to reboot the DCE server by running sudo service snmpd restart

Dear David Romero,
From your comment:
...You might be able to restart the service without having to reboot the DCE server by running sudo service snmpd restart
The end user of the DCE software can not do this.
From Steven Marchetti reply to the post of Default SSH password on Data Center Expert ?:
As per k-base FA222410 we do not provide root access (see the text for this FAQ below. Support is simply not allowed to provide this information to customers...
and from Balaraman Jagadeesan reply to the post of Putty remote access for AP9465 DCE Physical server:
As per K-base ID:FA222410 , DCE is customized, Schneider Electric does not allow customers access to the back end of the system. StruxureWare Data Center Expert is an appliance and should be considered a "black box" or closed system. We do not provide the root password for theses systems.
Therefore, there is no user interface activity can be performed through putty
With respect.

I know that DCE is a "black box" and closed from customers. Anyway I have doubts that snmp deamon is causing the problem. All other devices are working fine and if deamon would be the problem none of the equipment being monitored.

Dear Mate Fekete, David Romero,
The snmpd service on the DCE-server, of course, has nothing to do with the problem discussed here. Since the snmpd service is not used and is not intended for polling external SNMP devices.
With respect.
