DCE 7.3.1

Up until a week ago, My DCE was handling firmware updates to various AP8841 PDU bars just fine; no issues.  This week, new 8841's are being plugged into the network, DHCP hands them an IP address and can see them in both the device and map view's with the ability to launch into that device to verify there is an old firmware version in the device; no issues.  When selecting the Updates> Apply Firmware Updates, DCE does not offer any device needing updates  (I currently have 25 that are connected and not loaded with 6.4.0)

    Is it possible there is a higher level setting not discovering there are devices that need the firmware updated?  No settings have been changed.

This sounds similar to the issue discussed in our KBase FA274541. Can you review this and let us know if changing the Device File Transfer Settings resolves the issue.

Not even related to the problem. 

      Settings have only ever been FTP for the transfer and maybe this could POTENTIALLY be a problem if I could get that far.  Right now, DCE doesn't think there is anything needing an update.

     It discovers the device, assigns and IP address,  allows you to launch into it, but does not give you the option to allow its firmware to be updated (Updates>Apply Firmware Updates>....blank screen).  Worked last week; doesn't work this week.  No updates to the DCE,  no config changes; just up and stopped working.

Is is possible that your DCE has lost internet access? If so, you can instead download and import the Device Firmware Catalog file below to your DCE. https://schneider-electric.app.box.com/s/1i3bqtgxmr8km7q66zpaayhak6y9gemy Let me know if you still cannot see any available upgrades after importing the file.
