Hi Eddie,

That is currently not an option. I guess if you chose a custom audio file that lasted a long period of time, you could extend the time that the sound plays but it has been my experience that if you have hundreds of devices, there are almost always nuisance alarms happening so the UI would constantly be playing a sound if it had your configuration as an option. It was designed specifically to give you notice at the time of the event and if you have many events that occur, you will hear that sound many times. Again with your option, you would hear the sound only once if there was 1 alarm or 1000 alarms. If you have walked away, yes you would miss the sound but if that's the case, simply glance at the alarms window and you'll be updated.

Hi Steven Marchetti, there are some users that require this feature as they have 24/7 operators monitoring the system. Is there any future plans to continously play the sound until the alarms are acknowledged by the operator? Thank you

Law, To my knowledge, there is no plan to incorporate such a feature in DCE. I also believe you are a Schneider employee, correct? I can add an enhancement request to the system however more customer names in the request may give it more visibility. If you have customers requesting such a feature, please provide case numbers so I can add that info to any potential request. Again, this is assuming you're Schneider/APC. You may also want to not use this forum for that information. Either send an e-mail or escalate through your tech support teams. Steve
