Continous recording with DCE and Netbotzs cameras

Hi team,

is it possible to configure DCE and Netbotz with continous recording? I seems that DCE only record when an alarm or movement exists, but we have a possible customer that would install DCE if it could record clips permanently.

Hi @jzurera ,

DCE and NetBotz were designed to notify you of events that are out of the ordinary. If there's someone in the datacenter when they're not supposed to be for instance. We don't even suggest taking motion detection surveillance images in places where there is constant motion. We are not designed to handle the constant influx of images and if you start doing this with multiple cameras, the network throughput could end up being too much for the system resources.

What the customer is looking for is something more like a DVR/NVR. Again, we're not designed to work this way.
