Hi team,
we have a customer with DCE 7.5 and he has lost all the users configurated in the system. He was registering a new AD user and after that all the previous users dissapeared.
We have a configuration backup of the system from the last Friday. If we restore this backup, will we recover all users configuration without losing all the historical information about alarms and sensors?
Regards

Hi Javier,
If you import a configuration backup, the system will have the configuration from when the system was backed up but will have no data. If you import a full backup, the system will have the configuration and data /alarms from the date/time of the backup. If you import Friday’s full backup, you would be missing the weekends data and alarms.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
the problem is that we have only a configuration backup, we do not have a full backup. So if I understood properly we have now two choices:
Is it possible to check in the logs why the users dissapeared?
