The reason for asking is, I am installing a NetBotz Rack Monitor 250 in an AR3104, and the cable is way to long. I have tried to suck up as much length as I can, but still have way too much. I would like to cut it to length and re-crimp it, but the color code is not standard ethernet. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi Ross,
Most NetBotz sensors have more to the RJ45 connector than just wires. There are in most cases also resistors as well. We don't provide wiring for any of the sensors, sorry.

Hi Steve
It is not for the sensor, but the prox card door handle that I need the pin-out for.

Hi Ross,
Yes, I understand what you're asking. It is policy that we don't provide this info. Additionally, I believe the appliance sees the door handle as being there or not being there so in that respect, it is a sensor. It knows if it's connected and if it's the right handle.

Oh well, I guess I will have to figure out some other way to suck up the excess cable. If the whip coming off of the prox reader was shorter, say 6", with the coupler there, then this wouldn't be an issue, and work with all racks.
thanks.
