Hello Terrence,
StruxureWare Data Center Expert has the ability to communicate with 3rd party devices using both SNMP and ModBus TCP. If the generator has the ability to communicate with one of those protocol then yes otherwise you will need some kind of gateway to translate to ModBus TCP or SNMP.

the generator as snmp communication as we are viewing it through our local network, i tried adding it on DCE using the normal "add device" and going through the routine but its not finding it, do i have to create a DDF file for this?
