Been searching for days on this question. Our Data Center Supervisor decided he wanted the location name (room) where the camera resides to show on the web page to make it easier to determine which room you are looking at, with a glance. All of these camera's have been configured and discovered in DCE already.
Do I need to go back to the camera and reconfigure it? Or are we stuck with the Netbotz camera ID?
Is there documentation showing how to change the hostname at configuration?
Thanks for any support you can give.

Hi Laura,
To easily determine where each camera is located it would possibly be easier to change the camera pod label and include the location in the label.
This can be done via Advanced View by right-clicking on the camera pod in question from top left pane (navigation pane) and change the label to reference the location of the camera.
Note that this does not change the hostname on the web page but will changes the label underlined below in red.
Hopefully that will suffice.
