Francisco,
The information I have provided is the answer to your question. There is NO configuration option for what you are seeking under the alarm configuration perspective. That is only for SNMP devices. . The ONLY way to get an e-mail when DCE loses communications with a NetBotz appliance is:
1: Create a user with an e-mail address within DCE
2: Make sure that user has visibility to the NetBotz you need to be e-mailed about (a DCE admin works best)
3: Make sure your e-mail server is configured.
4: Unplug the NetBotz for a test. You may want to select the device menu, NetBotz appliance communications settings, NetBotz appliance polling. hit start for both polling options.
You should see that an e-mail similar to the 2 tests I have performed for you.
Note the subject line:
Critical Communication error with device (device name or IP)
(device name or IP) refers to the NetBotz that has lost comm.
the body of the e-mail states:
The device is offline due to a login error.
or depending on the test
The device is offline due to a timeout or connection error.
This is the information you receive when the NetBotz loses comm.

Hi Francisco,
There are, as you've likely seen, no thresholds set in DCE for NetBotz as they are for SNMP devices. This includes lost comm events. Alerts for lost comm between NetBotz and DCE do get sent however and they are automatic. Any user that is listed in DCE that has both an e-mail address associated with their login (including active directory logins) and has rights to the group where the NetBotz resides should automatically receive the lost comm e-mails.

Hi Francisco,
You will get an e-,mail similar to the following:
******************************************
From: | yourserver@yourdomain.com
To: | youruser@yourmail.com
Date: | Tue, Jun 16, 2015, 08:07 AM
Subject: | Critical Communication error with device (device name or IP) |
-- Report from yourserver.domain.com_(that server's IP) at
http:/ yourserver.domain.com, at 6/16/15 04:11 PM -- The device is offline due to a login error.
*******************************************************
There is currently no configuration that you can change for this message.

Hi Francisco,
Although I used a change in login to run yesterday's test, I re-ran it for you today. Please note the conditions do not change. You can not configure what is in the e-mail. You must have a user with an e-mail address that has rights to the NetBotz in question. Here's what you would expect to see in an e-mail where the NetBotz unit lost power.
**************************************************************
From: | yourserver@yourdomain.com | Show Full Headers |
To: | youruser@yourmail.com
Date: | Wed, Jun 17, 2015, 08:57 AM
Subject: | Critical Communication error with device (device name or IP) |
-- Report from yourserver.domain.com_(that server's IP) at
http:/ yourserver.domain.com,, at 6/17/15 08:52 AM -- The device is offline due to a timeout or connection error. |
**************************************************************
Please note that the subject line is identical however the body of the e-mail is slightly different. Either issue will cause a no-comm.

Steven I really appreciate your help, I'll explain a little more the case.
As you know, the StruxureWare assumes all thresholds devices that monitors and sends alerts for any of its events, but it is different with the Netbotz as Netbotz manages the shipment of their own alerts.
The StruxureWare not create thresholds for Netbotz, but I need a way for the StruxureWare send me alerts when a Netbotz Device is disconnected from the network.
I am attaching two pictures, in one can see that there is no threshold for Netbotz and the other image I'll show you the default threshold that creates the StruxureWare for a Rack PDU.

we had reset our netbotz device, and now many devices in the configuration are reporting 'the device is offline due to a login error'

Hi rtelfer@jennison.com,
It seems to me, that if you want your question answered as quickly as possible, it would be better to create a really new topic, rather than write, in fact an answer, on the theme of two years ago 😀.
Since you reset the NetBotz appliance settings to their factory defaults, this means also resetting the login and password for access by default (apc/apc). Therefore, either on the DCE-server in the "Add/Edit NetBotz Appliance Credentials" display, you must enter new credentials to access the NetBotz appliance, or in the NetBotz appliance, restore the old login and password.
With best regards.

netbotz is not offline, but was physically reset; now can login to struxureware, but many sensors and other devices report 'The device is offline due to a login error'.
