We're trying to create an alarm that will notify us when power is lost and the UPS?
Also,

Hi @adamsd,
In IT Expert, Administrators and Operators with the appropriate permissions can create alarm threshold policies on numeric and state sensors on the Alarms > Threshold policies page.
You select the location of the device(s), the sensor type, and the devices or specific sensors you want to include, and specify the threshold values.
There are several State sensors and Mode sensors for UPSs that might fit what you need. The Sleeping until power return Mode state sensor might interest you, assuming your UPSs support it.
You can read about threshold policies in the help center: https://community.se.com/t5/Alarms/Alarm-threshold-policies-in-IT-Expert/ta-p/485481
I hope this points you in the right direction.
