Hi Team,
I have not be able to add a new device to an existing threshold alarm. When I define a threshold alarm I can select what devices are included in this alarm, for example all the temperature sensors of the rack PDUs of a room.
But if I discover new devices in a future, I cannot include these new sensors in the existing threshold alarm, I have to define new threshold alarm for each rack that I install.
Is there anyway to edit a threshold alarm to add new devices into it?
Regards.

Hi Javier,
I'm not 100% sure I understand what your issue is. I have a number of cooling devices so I decided to use these for testing. I deleted one device. I created a policy and added an alarm to that policy. I then created a temperature threshold on 2 of the devices I have. It asked what policy (not alarm) that I wanted to add it to. I added the thresholds to the policy I created.
I then re-added the other cooling device (brand new device as far as the policy and DCE knows). I created a temperature threshold for that device and when it asked what policy to add it to, I chose the one I had just made moments earlier.
Now if I have a threshold alarm configuration, there is no way to add a different device to that threshold. When you created the threshold(s), you actually created it for multiple devices at once. You don't add or remove them later on, you simply create a new threshold. It was initially a grouped creation but once done, there is no group identity to the thresholds, they are individual and you must create new thresholds to new devices.

Hi Steven,
yes, that was my question.
I think it would be much easier to add sensors to a previously defined threshold. For example, all the temperature sensors will have the same threshold, 15-30ºC.
We are now in a project with 33 data centers, and we are discovering devices little by little, and creating the room's maps.
In every new location we have to create new thresholds for temperature with new devices' sensors. If we could add these devices to a defined threshold alarm, for example from here allowing add new devices to this Range Temperature threshold:

Hi Javier,
I had already written most of what I did before I got your request. I know something similar has already been requested so I'm going to add this thread to that request. Please note this isn't something they're actively looking at so I can't say when or if this will actually make it into the product.
